CITB Skills and Training Fund
The CITB Skills and Training Fund is an incentive aimed at micro and small construction companies (less than 100 employees) to encourage them to train employees using construction industry training board courses, which align with the CITB grant scheme and any other related construction courses and NVQs.
The fund is open from 1 April 2019 to the 29 March 2020. You can submit an application at any time during this period.

CITB Skills and Training provides funding for micro and small construction companies, to provide assistance with developing a stronger skills base. Specifically the fund provides an enhanced incentive for CITB Grant eligible training.

Who can apply for the CITB Skills and Training Fund?
To be eligible for funding you must be a CITB registered employer with 99 or fewer directly employed staff on your payroll. You must be a Levy payer or Levy exempt as an employer. You can apply for funding once every 12 months.
How Much Can I Apply For?
The amount of funding you can apply for depends on the number of employees you have:
- Employers with 1 to 49 directly employed staff can receive up to £5,000!
- Employers with 50 to 74 directly employed staff can receive up to £7,500!
- Employers with 75 to 99 directly employed staff can receive up to £10,000!
